Before you book

Most dental offices see new patients within a week or two; many keep same-day slots for emergencies like a severe toothache or a knocked-out tooth. Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card (or ask about cash pricing and membership plans), and a list of current medications. If you have severe facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, or trauma from an accident, go to an emergency room first.
